You MUST be some what comfortable with free motion quilting on your domestic machine.
(You can be a beginning free motion quilter who has taken a class and played some with it.  You DON"T have to be an expert!)

Grid Work is a MAGICAL thing!  After you learn to work with a grid, you'll be amazed how great your quilting will look!  You'll learn many tips and tricks to acheive impressive quilting designs.  Once the grid is gone, nobody knows you used one and it all lokks fantastic!
